The Office of Residential Life is made up of a collection of caring professionals and student staff members that all work to provide a positive and productive experience for all Goucher students.

Residential Life at Goucher partners with a number of different staff and faculty to create a meaningful residential experience aimed at assisting our students on their journey of emerging adulthood. As a member of the Division of Student Affairs we ascribe to the belief that learning happens everywhere and is not simply limited to the classroom.

Located near the heart of campus and close to the Decker Sports & Recreation Center, the First-Year Village has 450 beds in a traditional residence-hall setting to encourage first-year students to get out of their rooms, meet new people, and begin building friendships to last a lifetime.
Hammocks are clustered just outside the First-Year Village buildings to relax or read a favorite book.
Completely renovated in 2000, Heubeck Hall includes Bennett, Gamble, Jeffery, and Robinson houses. Heubeck's multipurpose room supports numerous student and community activities. Our caring and supportive Health Center is located here as well.
